Interesting introduction. Just as a side note on footnote no 1, I don't think a reflection on how we live our lives is CBT stuff. CBT is much more sure about what is a constructive way of thinking and what is cognitive distortion to be skeptical in any true sense
Yeah. I'm being super-reflective there. I used to suffer anxiety (not a clinical diagnosis) and just sort of approaching the concern of my anxiety with a skeptic perspective showed me that the anxiety was misinformed (again - this doesn't work as well with people with actual anxiety!). I think many people's personal philosophies come down to aspects of personality, and this is part of mine.
Good way to go. As a therapist, I think that's a great way of addressing anxiety for everyone: even those with clinical levels of anxiety. But sometimes it might not be sufficient on its own
